Paris — Finding Romance in the Ordinary
Paris has always been imagined as a romantic city, but while photographing it, I became interested in a quieter kind of romance — not in grand gestures, but in fleeting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Walking through the streets, I looked for moments where light, architecture, and people seemed to meet by chance. A couple sharing a table behind a café window, an elderly woman sitting in the afternoon sun, strangers passing through reflections, or a person quietly looking at a painting — these ordinary scenes began to feel almost cinematic. The city became less like a destination and more like a collection of small stories waiting to be discovered. I was drawn to the way sunlight softened the old stone buildings and how reflections created another layer between the viewer and the people being photographed. These details gave the photographs a sense of distance and intimacy at the same time, as if I were witnessing moments that belonged to someone else’s story.
